Hughes Electrical Group is the O'Connor outfit run by Ben Hughes: a Perth team of licensed electricians working across homes, commercial sites and industrial jobs. On the home side that means lighting and fan installs, repairs, upgrades and safety inspections; for businesses, one-off fixes through to ongoing maintenance.
Solar is where the momentum is. The crew takes a system from design and supply through approvals, installation and the support after, and the vans put it plainly: electrical, solar, air conditioning. Their Instagram bio squeezes it down further, "Solar. Air. Power. Built for now".
Customers notice the finish. Elizabeth, whose solar array and battery went in this May, called the install "neat & clean, the boys tidied everything up to perfection". Her first power bill after switch-on was $13. The ones before topped $500.
The team's own line is that "quality workmanship, safety, and innovative solutions" built their reputation. On site, ask for Ben.

Our experience with your team has been excellent, firstly your install team Brendan & his crew were here on time & after confirming the location of the equipment immediately began the installation. The job was done with minimal fuss or disruption & the finished install is neat & clean, the boys tidied everything up to perfection. Brendan had discussed what circuits we wanted backed up & when we had a scheduled power outage 2 weeks later it all worked perfectly & seamlessly supplied the backed up circuits. Since the install we have had one power bill of $13 for purchase + admin/service charges of around $75. Previous bills have exceeded $500. We are ecstatic with the result & wish to thank you for outstanding installation & service.”
