Dale and Amy's roller shutters, Yanchep to Mandurah
Shutup Roller Shutters is a husband-and-wife business. Dale Kawiti is the one on the tools, Amy is the other half of the operation, and between them they cover the whole Perth metro, from Yanchep down to Mandurah.
The line on their website says it plainly: deal with a tradesman, not a salesman. Dale turns up, measures the job and quotes the real cost. One customer who shopped the big companies first put it this way: "Shutup just give you the real cost, straight up, which was actually far more reasonable than other companies."
They supply and install electric, battery-operated and manual roller shutters for homes and shopfronts, custom made to size, with slat profiles from 40mm to 55mm. The shutters are CW Products, one of Australia's biggest roller shutter makers, and come with a 5-year warranty. Repairs and motor replacements are part of the service too, including a shutter Dale came back to fix four years after it went in.
Their Google rating sits at 5.0, and the name that keeps coming up in the reviews is Dale: prompt, polite, and there early on a Saturday when it mattered.

Picked by Dale and Amy Kawiti from their real Google reviews — how reviews work here.
“Start to finish, Dale was awesome to deal with. No pressure or hassling, quick replies, everything explained and reasonable cost. We got a few quotes from other companies, including the “big” companies in Perth, but their pricing made it look like you were getting a better deal with all the “discounts” - whereas Shutup just give you the real cost, straight up, which was actually far more reasonable than other companies. The workmanship was great and install was so fast. We are super happy with the result and would recommend Dale and his crew to anyone.”
“Dale came out today to repair a Shutup shutter I had installed about 4 years ago. He was prompt in getting back to my initial call, arrived as scheduled, communicated really clearly about the problem, thought through the best solution, and then fixed it. What more can you ask for?”
“New owners Amy and Dale are great. Dale came out and "rescue" us with an outstanding service to our rollers. I would recommend them to anyone. Professional, polite and punctual...what else would you ask?! Thanks Dale and Amy.”
“A big thank you to Shut Up Roller Shutters for their great service and professionalism. Dale went above and beyond by coming out very early on a Saturday morning to fix our shutters. His work was efficient and high quality, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable and professional service!”
“Offered an honest price, arrived promptly, and completed the job on time. Extremely polite and well-mannered, with workmanship that was second to none. We used them for our rental property and will definitely use them again. Highly recommended!”
